Description of the assignment

What is the role?

 

This role will see the appointee being responsible for the planning and execution of multiple projects involving the safe and efficient delivery of a range specialist services such as fire protection, insulation, M&E and coatings. The sharp growth of the nuclear sector will see this business line, within Nuvia, expand rapidly which will benefit the applicant through healthy career progression.

The successful candidate will, ideally, possess a high degree of accountability, professionalism and tenacity, while being self-motivated with an abundancy of drive and ambition. In return, Nuvia will recognise those efforts in both career progression and financial reward.

Duties will include planning, designing, executing, and monitoring every aspect of specific projects ranging from low-value call-offs, to larger, stand alone, contracts up to £10m in value. The candidate must have skills for developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communications to effectively liaise with all project stakeholders.

Due to the potential geographic spread of the projects, the applicant will need to be able to operate remotely, under low levels of supervision and be methodical, agile and be logistically orientated. The appointee will require a talent for developing collaborative relationships with joint venture partners and other supply chain companies, of all sizes.

·         Gather potential future opportunities with both current clients and new clients, within nuclear and across a range of other sectors

·         Keenness to aspire to exciting and challenging UK-wide projects

·         Client facing, with excellent relationship building skills

·         Commercial and value-driven acumen

·         Developing and maintaining detailed project plans to guide clients, staff and project teams

·         Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of reports

·         Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery

·         Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders and reporting into the Industrial Services Director

·         Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
