Description of the assignment
Purpose of the job
To assist the Business Development Manager and to help Identify, develop and secure sales of NuviaTech Instruments across the UK, developing the business from its current position to get an established foothold across the UK nuclear and non-nuclear estate.

Key Accountabilities
· Build relationships with key clients, develop opportunities and identify other routes to market. This will enable NuviaTech to sell into Nuclear, non-Nuclear and Medical sectors.
· Support the development of Company Strategy documents e.g. the Nuvia Ltd Business Strategy
· Operate to the full requirements of the Company’s Marketing Procedures;
· Look at opportunities to develop new products and services
· Achieve Order Intake targets inline with the Business Development Managers targets
· Manage Contacts and Prospects via the company CRM tool, ensuring details are kept up to date.
· Liaison with other individuals and departments within Nuvia such as marketing, tendering and procurement; contribute towards quotations, proposals and tenders;
· Demonstrate strong understanding of the strategies and capabilities of key competitors and suppliers.
Monitor Customer satisfaction and capture feedback, both formal and informal
Profile
Occupational Skills and Knowledge
· Self-motivated individual with experience of identifying potential opportunities through external clients via various industries
· Degree qualified or related work experience: ideally within a science or engineering discipline.
· Experience of sales of technical instruments, preferably radiological or alike
· Writing and developing quotations, proposals and tenders
· Account management experience to a high level
Duties and Requirements
· Development and maintenance of key client contacts across Nuclear, non-nuclear and medical markets
· Identifying, developing opportunities and closing out sales for NuviaTech Instruments across UK market, both through published procurement plans, but more importantly through development of relationships and business understanding
· Looking at opportunities to develop new products and services using the building blocks of the NuviaTech Instruments range
· Liaison with other BDMs across the market to identify opportunities within specific sectors to sell into
· Working with internal Procurement and Tendering departments to identify the use of COTS and bespoke equipment in Nuvia projects
· Writing and developing quotations, proposals and tenders to support Nuvia’s growth ambitions within the radiological instrumentation market in the UK
· Act as the main point of contact for clients for everything from enquiry through to delivery of the systems and training
