We are currently recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer. This is an embedded opportunity, supporting one of our key clients within the Nuclear Defence Industry.

Location wise, this is a hybrid opportunity, working from the client's site at Devonport Dockyard, on average once a month for 2/3 days.

Please note the ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance is essential, uplifted to SC prior to a start. 

Role Description:

• To assist the Discipline Lead in delivery of the structural engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost.
• Responsible for managing the technical deliverables of the structural engineering packages in line with the planned deliverables agreed by the Discipline Lead.
• Civil engineering detailed design, specifications, calculations, managing designs through approvals etc.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

• A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• 5 years prior experience within Civil Engineering.
• Ideally worked on Nuclear Defence projects previously. 
• Knowledge of seismic engineering.
